Bradley has been less than stellar so far this year. He's been oft-injured (no surprise), standoffish with the media (no shocker) and his play has been sub-standard.
Last night's line: 0-6, 3ks & 10 LOB...yikes (he did have a nice catch, although some seem to think that Reed Johnson or Hoffpauir would have made the same catch standing up).
Bradley has been getting killed on all the Cubs message boards I've been to. Despite his poor play, I still think the guy can make a difference. Switch hitters that get on base, have a good grasp of the strike zone and have the ability to hit with power & average from both sides of the plate are rare, though we've seen little of those attributes this year. Lou has said that he is going to keep getting Bradley AB's, so it doesn't look like he's in the doghouse, but at some point, this becomes a serious concern.
