Any idea when we will get an announcement on television and tip-off times for the upcoming season? Surely it has to be coming soon right? Is it normal to be this close to the season and not know this info? Granted, I looked at the Hawkeyes schedule and it doesn't seem like they know theirs either.

I see they just dropped the women's television and tip-off times, so I'm hoping the men's isn't far behind

The Valley's dropped yesterday and today and both leagues use the same network liaison so I'd imagine it'll be this week.

That's a lot of conference games on ESPN+. No complaints from me. That's the only way I get to watch.

At least games on espn+ conference games are against lower half of the conference. No bs like ku being on the the plus.

For sure. 6 last year, and 8 this year. With much higher preseason expectations which would usually mean better network placement.

Curious if the big 12's overall proportion of ESPN+ games went up

After the BYU showing last year, I bet TJ/Staff have developed a specific Mountain time zone Trip/Practice routine have the squad ready.

I'm too lazy to look into it, but with the way they were hyping SEC basketball last season I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're beginning to treat that as the premier MBB league.

There are also 160 total conference games this year, compared to 126 last year.
So is ESPN overall broadcasting less college games on main network channels this year, or is the constantly-hyped "best basketball conference in America" just getting screwed so they can play more SEC/ACC games on main channels?

Same night at the ACC/SEC Challenge plus it'll get some subs from Big East land that they don't currently get.
