I think ISU can compete with any of the top teams in Atlantis. I don't see any dominate team. Oregon, Michigan, UNC, and Gonzaga lost a ton. I might pick Seton Hall as the favorite for that one. They return Myles Powell and a couple other good players.

The field projected on Barttorvik...

#5 North Carolina
#6 Gonzaga
#27 Seton Hall
#28 Alabama
#35 Michigan
#38 Oregon
#57 Iowa State
#159 Southern Miss

Ouchies.

If we an compete with UNC and Zaga, we are much better than basically any of us would reasonable hope for next season and will be a really good team.

We could be in store for a butt-kicking -- something like L, L, and maybe W against USM.

If it's seeded based on that, we’d have:
1 North Carolina
8 Southern Miss
4 Alabama
5 Michigan
3 Seton Hall
6 Oregon
2 Gonzaga
7 Iowa State
Whether that’s the exact setup, hard to say, but probably isn’t too far off. UNC & Gonzaga will be placed 1 & 2 in some fashion and USM 8th, highly certain of that.

It's hard to go against NC or the Zags they both just kind of reload every yr. Few is a heck of a coach and has really found a home at Gonzaga. We would all be drinking the KoolAid big time if we came out of that tourney undefeated.

I don't think I had seen that 100 Things Fans Need to Forget on Wide Right until today. Of course, like stopping to look at a train wreck, I HAD to read a few entries.

There's some really funny ones in there.

And some of them....there's no choice but to accept it as funny.

Top 20 teams probably but I don't see either as top 10. Michigan also overrated at 35.

Has Juiston chosen a school yet? I know Seton Hall was a finalist.

Andy Katz has Seton Hall's Myles Powell as one of his top 5 players in the country. He'll be a handful and we could - in theory - run into The Hall twice as they will also be in our T'giving tournament field (opposite side of the bracket, I believe). Powell, is a small, high-volume shooter who can go off on people. Very good - but streaky - shooter with great range. He took himself out of NBA draft consideration:
