Unfortunately not surprising. Doesn’t take double the back office staff to run C-stores

When will the city of DM do hold Kyle accountable for staffing levels in his office building?
For all the tax abatement he received, I thought he had minimum employment levels for that building

I've never been in a Maverik store, but did see some when we were in Colorado. Anyone know what the level of quality is? From the outside they look decent. I just remember many years ago when QuikTrips were sold and turned into something else in Cedar Rapids, can't remember the name, but they were awful. The QT quality which was always pretty good took a major nosedive.

The newer locations in the mountain states tend to be very massive if that's what somebody likes. Like tons of pumps, overly high ceilings and walk in beer cooler rooms. But I've gone to some older ones that are just like any older Casey's too.

Can confirm. I live in Utah and all the newer Mavericks are super nice. But the older ones are just a generic looking gas station.

The newer stores are great. Some of their older stores (acquired stores) feel like "lipstick on a pig".

I've been traveling out west this summer and they are my preferred choice for c-store. I like that their bathrooms can be accessed from hallway on side of building. So can avoid pump/store front traffic. And don't feel so guilty if I don't pump/buy something.:)

Only complaint is their grind-to-make coffee is mouth-burning hot. Needs to sit about 30 minutes to be drinkable. The positive- it's still warm 2 hours later.
