As for next year's starting 5: Tyrese Haliburton, Prentiss Nixon, Talen Horton-Tucker, George Conditt, Cameron Lard. Everyone really still thinks Lindell will go to the NBA after this year?

Shooting 35.6% overall, 30% from 3, 70% free throws with a crucial miss last Saturday, 17 assists and 10 turnovers in 6 games. I mean, I love Lindell as much as all Cyclone Nation, and I'm not complaining. I'm just saying right now he would be about the 98th best player coming out of college after this year. Yeah he has two more months to make up ground, but realistically I would think he wants to come back another year, play really well and raise his stock substantially.

Wigginton "needs" to start. He did the "team thing" and tried to fit in to our roster filled with newcomers. But it didn't work. Prohm now must decide whether he is going to keep going with his super newcomers or prioritize his veteran superstar. I don't think you have a talent like Wigginton on your team and not prioritize him at some point. This is a good time in the season to experiment. I predict he starts Wigginton and we see a break-out game tonight, including a game-winner on a drive to the basket (and one).

I think he will be back. Obviously a strong end-of-year run would change that but I honestly think he will be back because he will be advised too.

Interesting picks of starting Conditt over both Jacobson and Young and assuming Wigginton is going to the NBA after this season. Conditt has shown some promise for sure.

Lindell played 30 tonight. Talen played 24. I have to think the switch is coming.

My way-to-early guess for next year...

Nixon
Haliburton
Leech
Horton-Tucker
Jacobson
--
Lewis
Lard
Young

Back of the bench... Conditt, Griffin, Jackson, Anderson

I see no way Jacobson suddenly comes off the bench next year. He’s averaging 13.6 and 6.1 for us while playing fairly good defense.

Right. Lindell played 30 minutes, shot 25% (3-12) and 20% from 3 (1-5). So some of you still think there are NBA scouts out there just drooling to get that for their team? It will be a huge mistake if he leaves college this year.

Moving Haliburton to the primary point guard spot, starting both Wigginton and Horton-Tucker, keeping Jacobson at the 5, and bringing in Leech or Nixon or whoever is the next man up at the wing as a starting line-up next year would be pretty sexy.
