I see that CR reports that we are definately recruiting him. Is there any news on this kid? All I know is that he is a 2008 SF/PF.

All very interesting, but we need to get 2007 taken care of first. If Walker, Brakins, and Leuer all commit and show up, this guy will probably just become a fringe recruit.

While that may be true, the fact that Leuer is paying his own way to visit ISU this weekend indicates to me he has more interest in GMac's program than the recruiting watchdogs would have us believe. GMac was on him early and was the first to offer him a scholarship. That means a lot to 17 yr. olds. I think his heart is with the Big 10but to go there, he must choose either playing for a mediocre program in Minn. or playing against his home town family and friends for four years. At ISU he could play for one of the best up and coming coaches in the country, and still be close enough to home that his family could join in the fun.

I believe he already has 4 of his 5 official visits set up. He is only coming here to see if he might want to take an official visit here.
