PG's aren't all about shooting...DG was not the greatest shooter (31.9% 3 FG) either but he's got a chance at NBA for the second year in a row. I'm sure Fred has worked on his shot and his maturity will help with that as well.

You're right; DG wasn't a good shooter. If he was, he'd have been a first round pick. And despite not being a good shooter, his FG% his last season at Iowa State was still TEN PERCENT higher than Lucious's at Michigan State. That's a huge margin.

Also, not for nothing, this board whined for three years about DG's poor shooting at point guard, about how the defense didn't have to respect him. But now that we have a guy who missed over two-thirds of his shots the last season he played, a PG's shooting ability apparently doesn't matter anymore.

Well you saw the increase in scoring/shooting DG had in one year, Lucious has had two with Mr. Dreamiest.
