They need to do a recap show because honestly, I do not remember all the little things i need to to enjoy this show.

Now the BIG news is that Jack Bauer starts again next week! That is much more important.
More important than One Tree Hill starting yesterday or 90210 tonight?

ABC will almost certainly run a recap of Lost as some point before the season premiere. Seems like they always do that.

The shows starting up in the next month have me much more excited than last Fall's premieres. Lost, 24, and Battlestar Galactica all start this month, then Chuck and Heroes return in February.

Just watched the season 4 finale again last night. Here is a quick recap of how it left off:

In the future:

1. Ben moves the island and in the process has teleported himself off the island (into the Sahara) and in the mean time has visited Jack, Sayid, andWhidmore. He's trying to recruit the Oceanic 6(Jack, Kate, Hugo, Sayid, Aaron and Sun) to go back. He has an idea on how they can get back, but they all must go together.

2. Sun is pissed off and appears to be working with Whidmore to get back at Ben (who I'm assuming she blames for Jin's death)

3. Kate is raising Aaron, and is no longer with Jack because he is a junkie.

4. Hurley has been talking to Charlie (who we assume is the manifestation of the island) and trying to get him to come back. Hurley goes off with Sayid in the finale to a "safe" place

5. Sayid is an assasin for Ben, taking out Whidmore's people.

6. Ben is going after Penny, in revenge of his daughter being killed by the mercenaries.

7. Kate has a dream with Claire in it and Claire tells her she can never bring Aaron back to the island. I'm assuming the island doesnt want him there because he is "special."

8. Desmond goes off with Penny and doesnt go public because he wasnt on the plane and he would screw up the story that the oceanic 6 invented.

9. Locke is dead and they are referring to him as Jeremy Benthom. Also, he talked to Jack about a month before his death and told Jack "terrible things" happened after they left and that the should never have left the island.

In the present (Island Time)

1. The Island has moved
2. Lock is now the leader of The Others
3. We learn that Charlotte was possibly born on the island
4. Dan was on a lifeboat with some of the crash survivors heading back to the island because the frieghtor blew up (killing Micheal and Jin).
5. Juliette and Sawyer are sitting on the beach when the island moves.

My prediction for this season is that instead of the "main story timeline" being on the island and having flashbacks/flash forwards is the side story it will be the opposite. We will see the "main story" in the future with the Oceanic 6 trying to get back to the island and in the mean time the "side story" will show what happened to the island after it "moved" the "terrible things" that happened because of it.
