These are the projected line ups. I have read that Perry may be out so a change may need to be made there.

I am suprised there is only one No 1 rated wrestler on both teams combined. I remember seeing previous meets when there would be a couple on each side.

Looks like it should be a hell of a meet!

(ISU should be able to get wins from all 3 if they wrestle tough, but definitely could go the other way)

I think there are slight chances for an upset coming from Mueller (but he is going to hav to wrestle VERY well) and Reader (since Perry is a loser, punk). I think Reader has a decent shot, but Perry wrestles such funky stuff, that it's hard for inexperienced guys to deal with it. He is a staller and counters the crap out of aggressive wrestlers and is VERY funky.

Completely agree - I think if Perry is out that really swings the meet ISU's way, no way Brands risks that.

Do you risk the entire season for one meet? I know that this meet is big, but it really does them no good to have Perry with a nagging injury the rest of the year. That could cost them points in the Big 10 and NCAA tourney.

If it's bad enough you sit him. It's just like any other sporting event. You have to look at the big picture.

Does Mac play Wesley just because it's Iowa or does he do the right thing and let him heal?

It's not an injury. Perry is a ***** and was getting his *** handed to him so he choked a kid in their last tournament. He got disqualified from the match and supposedly has to sit out one event per NCAA rules.

He's not injured, he's potentially suspended for getting DQ'd from his last match. There have been some other threads about it.
