I think she could have really help us this past year, but it is really hard mentality to bounce back from the shooting slump she had to start the year. She seemed to be a great teammate.

My "insider" says Lily really wanted to attend the U (Miami) with the Cavinder twins (last offseason) and only selected ISU at the urging of her father. Good luck Lily...

Good luck to Lily, just never saw how she hit that high of a percentage she made in Oregon. Never squared up on her shot, but she must have been used to it.

Maggie Espenmiller-McGraw went to Montana and shot to 43% from three after struggling her last year at ISU. I hope Lily has a similar turnaround wherever she lands.

Not sure a step down in competition is the answer. She is a proven player at the HM level.

Maybe she needs the right fit with coaching to get her back to the level she displayed at Oregon St as a contributor on their Elite 8 team. It certainly didn't click for her at ISU.

I felt like all of her misses were BARELY off. I.e.-roll around the rim 3 times all fall out. Felt bad for her.

She had an extremely odd shooting form. It took a while to set up and she shot almost from the side of her body.

Her reach on defense has been underappreciated.

She averaged 17 mpg in 2023-24 for a superior Oregon St team while shooting 44% from the arc.

At ISU, she averaged 10 mpg for a worse team and shot 20% from the arc.

She can still be a rotation player next season for a high major team with the right coaching fit that will reinstate her confidence.
