Some comment boards have a "like/dislike" button (s) which incorporate a running total. This allows a reader to see what the "group" is liking or not liking,,,,,,and maybe cuts down on the endless replys to a thread.

Maybe I am missing this feature here??

There used to be a positive rep/negative rep with green bars or red bars. Gave you a pretty good idea who the ******** were.

A poll would probably be the way and the most official to see if we should have neg rep unless the powers a be are willing to comment ...

Mods have commented on negative rep before saying that it caused a lot of problems with people leaving nasty comments (IIRC). I think we can do without it. Everyone knows who the idiots are without negative rep.

Yeah I could believe that some people would leave nasty comments especially with a lot of anonymity on the internet. How many people would comment the way they do if there profile wasn't anonynmous?

Not sure this is what I have seen on other sites.......What I have seen is the running total (eg. 47 likes-13 dislikes) --No writer names/or comments.
