Well, he's not a good shooter. He will get better though.

Diante Garrett shot 35% from the field and 22% from 3 as a freshman.
Tamin shot 48% from the field and 20% from 3 as a freshman.

Per 40 min as a frosh, Tamin has significantly better rebounding, assist to TO, steals numbers.

So looking at something like that, Tamin is miles ahead of DG.

DeAndre handled the ball a ton and was a beast.

Kane was the PG. Everything ran through him. And when opposing coaches talked about ISU it was pretty clear he was the focus of their defensive game plan.

Freshman Monte and Lipsey’s situations are not remotely close to the same.
