I liked a quick pull up jumper that he took and made today. Didn't think about it just shot it. That's well within his range

And went 0/8 shooting yesterday and only made 2 free throws
Hunter is still basically incompetent when it comes to finishing at the rim. Also a turnover waiting to happen much of the time. He is an explosive athlete, though, no doubt.

Not bashing the kid but he brings zero offense to the team. For example, like today…. When everyone is garbage on O he can’t help out at all. If he’s our starting pg next year… this team will not make the tournament.
Agree with a lot of this but still can be a tournament team. Will need to see what our final roster is. Need 2 +38% 3pt shooters to overcome what he isn't

They guy is great, but he needs to at least be a threat to shoot an open shot outside of the paint.
I love him. I just think RN he’s a solid backup pg until he can start hitting some shots. Monte his freshman year could at least keep teams satisfied with his shooting. Meaning he could hit big time shots when he had to.

He’s a facilitator. He gets the ball to the shooters and is aggressive taking the ball to the cup. Yeah it would be nice if he could also shoot the 3 but he does so many other intangible things that don’t always show up in the box score, I personally don’t care that he doesn’t shoot the 3. Some of you can’t let the freshman kid be human. He’s been fantastic for us. Is he perfect? No. But statistically he’s been as good or better than maybe any freshman we’ve ever seen at ISU before

He made one of our two threes today and at 6’2” led the team in rebounding with 10

So you’re okay with 35min 2-9fg 1ast 3pf(who cares) 5pts? If that’s he case then we will literally score 40-50 points a game next year.
We're going to score less next year and it's going to be Tamin's fault? How does this work?

Great. That's all great. He still needs to get a whole lot better at shooting. It's a major weakness that hurts his team.

Seemed our losing streak started around the time defense started sagging off Lipsey. Thinking TTech game was first one where they did for significant part of the game. TJ was able to throw in a few wrinkles which kept us in few games, and Lipsey focused on driving and midrange, but completely killed our cutting offense when they started dropping defenders. No lanes for Holmes or Kalschur on back cut. They were really only guarding Gabe at one point today.
