Supposedly the TX band flew to the game. Expected to use indoor facilities to practice and then perform. Not even enough seats for band to see game and they had to spend the time sitting in the buses.
Apparently ISU didn't know their plans and they just expected to be accommodated.
Anyone else hear about it?
Probably avoided a rather loud reception.

Unless I am mistaken, if a schools band wants to come to the game, their seats have to come out of the schools allotment of visitor tickets. So if Texas oversold their allotment of tickets, that's on them.

We noticed a handful of private jets coming in and landing from the north at Ames Muni while tailgating. Don't think I recall ever seeing that in the past.

Yeah, we were in D4 and saw at least 3 landing about 3 hours prior to the game...they looked like one of the Embraer 50-60 seat (approx.) charter jets.

The good news is, they didn’t get lost leaving the stadium.

As if TexaSEC doesn’t have enough money to buy extra seats. Game wasn’t a sellout, was it?

I am not surprised if this is true.

Arrogance vs. Confidence.

It is okay to be a little cocky because you are good and know it, BUT you have to back it up and recognize that you must earn the respect and titles.

Being cocky and expecting star treatment without respect - yuck.

Enjoy the SEC!

I saw a bunch of posts from their fans on social media asking if UT could change the logos on their stadium to d from Big XII to SEC ones the moment their next game was over.

Such arrogant a$$es.

I’m quite happy that whatever bowl/playoff revenue they generate will be going to the BigXII pot—though their fans seem to be not bright enough to realize that.

So, should we hope they make the playoffs so we get a cut of the $$$ ?
