What wrong about that statement? He fell out of their rotation.
so, would he sit for a year and then have two years to play?
He didn't fall out of the rotation he played in the last 7 games. There was rumors of him transferring out before the season was over. I have no clue why his minutes went down and why he didn't play in two games but he will be highly sought after and I'd prefer him over Tillman
Once he left the starting lineup he had 3 games with 10+ minutes and two DNPs. Also averaged 13.8 minutes per game during that span. For comparison, Edozie played 9.3 MPG (for the whole year though)
I'd be happy with either Tillman or Washington. Either would be a good piece of the 16-17 roster, but wouldn't be a big deterrent to getting a HS or JuCo stud.
Matt averaged 11 mpg the last 6 games of the season, that doesn't mean he ever fell out of the rotation. Edozie only played in 16 games so his mpg doesn't really mean anything
It is too bad he has to redshirt next year, he would play a lot and likely would surpass his NCSt numbers in Hoiball.Scored double figures in games against Purdue, Georgia Tech, Boston College, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Louisville and Virginia (a couple others). I'd be more than fine with him.
Article re: Washington's game at NC State. Sounds like a great scorer but mentions some shortcomings, which I assume are defense related.

And, sounds like he lost PT due to lack of defense & rebounding:
