Sounds like Murph and Andy's loyal sponsors from KXNO are moving their support to Iowa Everywhere. Not surprising, I guess, but certainly interesting. Good for IE.
That's awesome...and not surprising. So, again, great strategy by Williams and Hassle as they build their company.

I listened to CW and AD's latest pod and was very insightful. Something CW said which I knew, but was glad to hear him say, is they have the data to truly show what works/what doesn't (where I dont' think radio can really do that...maybe better now with some of their shows having pods after).

I know there are personal and professional relationships likely weaved into the Iowa Everywhere company (and i'd say it's always tough to see in the DSM market who are truly pals vs just work colleagues)....which is probably great, but also makes you wonder if there will ever be any "shade" thrown from KXNO folks....I'm thinking the Hawkeye Reaction stuff...I've never tuned in, but I just have to think Hassle/AD will be much better/more entertaining (without commercial breaks, etc)....i could see Travis making passive aggressive comments "If you want to listen to the original reaction show" or other stuff like that. (also recognize they take live calls which probably has it's own entertainment factor).

That was a ramble....but big kudos to CW and crew who seem way ahead of the curve on this stuff and we all benefit.

Oh, I can absolutely see Travis doing this.

Her takes are just an aggregate of Iowa State twitter with not a whole lot of substance or depth to them.
That truly is about the perfect way of putting it....cliche takes on certain things and then the twitter takes. And it's always uncomfortable listening because it Sean and Lucas know their stuff, but if they correct she steps on their mic and tries to make them feel dumb. So annoying. I've noticed she will even correct them before they talk. Like "Before you even bring it up Sean, yes, I know that they can't XYZ"

I have never listened to IE but I will probably switch soon. Also never listend to a podcast. Do I need an app?

iPhone comes with a Podcast app
Can also listen to podcasts though Spotify

Pretty easy - open the podcast app and search for Iowa Everywhere
Then you can subscribe and new episodes should download and play automatically

First podcast with Jake and Derek was a hit. Looking forward to more as the season goes forward.
Derek is a great addition. I like the concept of the show as a mostly Big 12 show. And Brend seems like a nice guy, but he brings no energy to the mic. Podcasts require knowledge, but it's an entertainment product. Brend, who is on TV every night, seems to be afraid to let loose. I think that's his religious choir boy personality coming through.

This could be good when Iowa loses to hear Hassel meltdown:

I will allow it as long as it does not interfere with our CyHawk victory instant reaction/celebration podcast. They can grouse all they want on the Ocho that day.
