Yep, but they are coming on RIGHT after the game. Guessing Soundoff doesn't come on for at least what 30 to 60 minutes after?

Valid.

I still view it as an attempt to get some of those listeners. SoundOff likely has their loyal listeners (and callers) who won't be swayed. But this is a nice offering.

There is no way I could or will listen to this. Yucky.

I most likely will after Iowa losses, definitely not after any wins of course. I'm kind of surprised Hassel can commit to such a show, isn't he usually calling a game most Saturdays? Seems like those could overlap with the end of Iowa football games.

I could be wrong but have a feeling he isn't doing that this season. He hasn't mentioned it at all to Williams in their podcast and he did quite a bit last year. If so, don't know if it was his call or Learfield's. I would think that travel would get old but if you want to do play-by-play that was a pretty good gig to have. He had some good games to call last season.

Makes it better when they're still seething after a loss and haven't had a chance to cope yet. I think it was AD who had an instant reaction last year after the Minnesota loss that was an all timer where he pretty much all but asked for the feds to arrest the referees.

What happened to John Miller? Too busy smoking peyote and placing sports bets underneath the bridge at the Missour-Kansas border?

He was pretty bad last year so glad they switched it up. Not sure if it was scheduling related or what but there was so little effort put into it and it showed.

Listening to Hassel talk about Iowa is like listening to clonedude talk about the Cyclones so I'm not particularly looking forward to that. I do agree with others that this will likely be very fun for ISU fans to watch after losses and knowing Hassel even after some of the wins.

I always get a kick out of Hawk fan hate for Hassel.
