TCU's a team that maybe started figuring things out...KU's also on a new trek playing some young players.

I'm just glad ISU could provide the type of situation for this to become an interesting game.

Of course now they're not hitting their 3s.

Of course, TCU can't hit the broad side of a barn tonight and looks loke a shell of the team it was in Ames Saturday. So annoying.
Not surprising since they had a ton of layups and wide open 3s. Amazing how easy college players make it look when you don’t play defense.

It was funny ... late in the game, TCU scored on a fast break, and Eric Heft quipped that they scored against ISU's "cover 0" defense.

Both of these teams are actually looking pretty decent for pace and ball movement.

Shots aren't going down.

That was an impressive half by both teams. Both looked like conference contenders. That TCU loss may look similar to the K State home loss in a couple weeks: not as bad as it seemed.

Even if it doesnt look like it came to as bad a team, the loss will still be bad because the loss was still mostly on us being bad and disengaged. Getting blown out like that to any team in the league at home is still a terrible loss.

Tied at the half. This is an evenly matched game. If TCU can pull this out, it will be a big confidence builder, and would put them above .500 in league play. It was also end KU's 12 game winning streak on Big Monday, which is what I am in this for.

If Grimes starts playing up to his billing and Dotson and Abagje keep progressing, this KU team gonna be scary good down the stretch run.
