Klatt said ISU is his under the radar team but mostly CMC. Klatt also said only reason CMC is still at ISU is because of the it buyout. Really getting tired of this type of talk.

Don't disagree but to throw out the buyout keeping schools from hiring - who wanted CMC but couldn't afford the buyout - probably a school that isn't really better than ISU.
He stated the buyout is the only reason he is still at ISU. More than once. Yes as long as he his here there will be talk of him leaving, but don't just make stuff up as to why he stayed.
If the buyout was such an undesirable anchor for Campbell I doubt he would have signed extensions to it each of the last two winters.
Matt has already stated that he loathes when people say things like that. He takes it as a major insult to the people of Ames, the school, players, and the fans. He also says it lights a fire under his ass like no other. Either way nothing we can do but enjoy the moment.
As long as the 'CMC is leaving' rumors are strong and he's still at ISU it means football is still fun at ISU.
These guys know our coach about as well as some random guy posting here. They have never even met him but have a microphone and get to spout off. There's not enough actual sports news to fill all of the time (and it is hard work to get and report real news) so they just talk and talk and talk and hope to hit on something. What I don't get is number of them talking and the number of people who pay attention to them.
It does get annoying.
But I'll say that the buyout is what makes me think he WANTS to be here. We were all shocked when we heard what the original buyout was. Those kind of buyouts just aren't signed. It's not like Campbell was desperate to be hired by Iowa State for god's sake. Jamie would have gone for the deal with a buyout 75% lower than it was.
And if Klatt is so worried, he should realize that the buyout is much less now than it was. It isn't nearly as hard to hire Campbell as it was 2 years ago.
On an ESPN interview today (or yesterday) they asked CMC about that. But the cool thing is they couched the question as "people are saying ISU is the perfect spot for CMC, why Ames?"
Answer was what you'd think - people, values, support, community... All of those things are available at other schools in varying degrees, but we fit CMC and CSP. And they fit ISU.

Name a coach that has left ISU in recent history that has had a long tenure with another program, university or organization? Coaches have left and had a moment of success, but was unemployed in 3-4 years.

It's para phrased from when what's his face said he wouldn't be here long before Campbells first bowl game. Was it Herbstreit? Also Campbell has talked about coaches calling him asking him what he is doing at ISU. Just me putting lots of stuff together over the last couple years. You could probably find the quotes better than me.
