Tied with UCF with 48 seconds left. Apparently one Mike Beasely is not enough.

So having a 30 point, 20 rebound a game man does not get you out of the woods.

For the record, Beasley was 30 points and 13 boards tonight. Already the Player of the Year in the Big 12 as a freshman....

Hoskins is the most important player on that team.

I couldn't agree more. Rumor is he could be done for the year. Some NBA talent and a high school coach. It will be interesting to see how this goes.

Honestly, if I were the coach (and it's a good thing I'm not) I put Rahshon on Beasley to defend him and lay off a little bit (since he can't shoot real well) and then I put Wesley on Walker and have him lay off him a lot (since he can't shoot at all) and force Pullen to beat us or for them to take jump shots. This is honestly probably one of the worst shooting teams in the Big 12 - I honestly don't know why everybody doesn't just run a zone at them.

Beasley just might be better than Durant. But K-State in the George Mason game looked a lot like a Wayne Morgan coached outfit. Throw up a lot of reckless shots, early in the shot clockplenty of turnovers. Beasley got tnto foul trouble and only had 6 in the first half, but ended up with 30. As well as he shot, he should have had a touch every posession. Doug Gotlieb said a half-time, "they have some good players, but they are not a team."
