The two most important things NFL teams are looking for in WR are catching the ball consistently and get in and out of breaks quickly. Hakeem had a very high drop rate in college and isn’t quick in and out of breaks. He got hurt early.
Obviously I remember drops, but I’m curious if you have numbers on his drop rate compared to others? I was looking it up but couldn’t find anything(short search). I know X this year had a lot of drops in potential game winning situations. I also remember Butler being better at highlight catches than he was routine catches.
Not doubting it, just curious statistically. I remember I want to say a few years ago but apparently it’s 15-20 years ago already seeing the 10 WR’s in the NFL with the most dropped passes in the NFL, it was like #1 Terrell Owens, #3 Chad Johnson and a bunch of similar names and I remember back then thinking that’s crazy. But it made sense after seeing the targets compared to others.
