If he could at least shoot 33% from 3 we’re significantly better offensively. He shoots 40 and we’re really, really good.
If Gabe is a consistent offensive threat this team can beat anyone. Glad he's getting it rolling hopefully he can maintain!
I think he was labeled inconsistent or streaky offensive player from the get-go. He is proving that to be correct. Glad he had the streaky good going today. Looks like he will keep his confidence to shoot regardless which type of game he is having. Kudos to him.
In my opinion, Gabe’s offensive performance is the key to the lock of this potentially being a Sweet 16 team.
He at least looks like he's not forcing the issue which seemed to be the case in previous games.
That pull up at the elbow yesterday was a nice thing and I think helps this offense if they can start getting those types of shots.
Gabe's shot looked so much better yesterday. He was squaring up and his release was silky smooth. There were several games in the last few weeks where he looked like he didn't even want to be on the floor. Good for him for figuring some stuff out and being a leader. Someone has to step up on the offense for this team. Maybe it will be Gabe or another guy or a combination of players. It's such a change to watch a team that is fighting for everything. The last 2 years were painful.
Game gets his confidence back and Caleb loses his. Yesterday Grill had a wide open 3 and shovel passed the ball 6 feet to Gabe to take the shot. All 5 of our guards have the ability to play at a high level hopefully all or most of them will be rolling at the right time.
