Rojas’ last win was over Cade King, SDSU’s starter at 174 this year.

Manny lost to Logan or Lehigh 9-6. Back & forth match. Tried a desperation throw & gave up 2 with no time left. He had criteria 6-6, but gave up a late push out to go behind 7-6.

Logan was a National qualifier this year for Lehigh

Gaukel also wrestled and went 2-2. Fernando’s son is a way under the radar recruit. I now there’s better names out there but I think his ceiling is pretty high. Got out horsed the couple matches he lost which is expected when he had to face 2 Top 10 195 Seniors and he wrestled 182 this year as a Junior. I think he would fit in perfectly at 184. Rojas looks like a 174 pounder at least to start his career.

Rojas placed 5th which is pretty impressive for a HS Jr. Has a high motor and actually is too aggressive and gets out of position every now and then. Great problem to have. He will be a fan favorite.

He looked really good at the State Tourney too. I thought he had Mooberry, the eventual champ, beat in the Semis. I definitely agree on the high ceiling and think it would be nice to get him in the ISU room. I'm guessing he's gotten to scrap a bit with some of our guys already.
