Harrington likely won't stay guard size. He's only a sophomore and already 6-5. I wouldn't be surprised if he grows another 3-4 inches. Be nice to have a big man with guard skills. Even if he doesn't grow another inch, it's still a great get.

As a freshman at North Scott, he tied for their lead in points per game at 13.3, shooting 55% from the field, 46% from three on 4 attempts a game, and 72% from the line. He averaged 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 0.4 steals, 0.5 blocks, 1.4 turnovers per game.
So last season he didn't contribute much beyond scoring, but for a freshman he was a solid scorer on really good efficiency. It'll be interesting seeing how he does this season, as he was the only one of North Scott's top 7 scorers who wasn't a senior. His workload will be increasing a lot.

I don’t have inside knowledge but I doubt we’re recruiting him anymore. I would guess the only kid we might be after still is Kai Rogers
I know he was the #1 recruit in the country, but a freshman Harrison Barnes reminds me of this kids film.

A 4 star for class of 2027?? Definitely may reach the 5 star level by then.
I think On3 is the only one that has him rated currently. It will be interesting to see where he lands on 247, but having high major offers from Illinois and Oklahoma this early is a good sign.
They're also basically different players. And you can never have enough shooters. JB is a 2 / combo-guard. Harrington seems to be more of a wing-3. It really doesn't matter but they're not exactly same comps.
Especially in the NIL/transfer era.
You need a plan and then like 3 plans if the others don't work out.
Calling the staff nuts after the last 3 years is bonkers in itself.
The best part of this commitment is he’s right in Fran’s back yard. I went to North Scott for elementary school until 2000 and I was literally one of about 5 kids in the entire school that was a cyclone fan.

Wasn’t expecting this today! Nice surprise. First I’ve heard of the kid but I just have to trust TJ at this point. He’s earned it.
Is On3 another subscription service, much like 247? Can’t say I pay a ton of attention to it all but seems like insider updates here are maybe twice a month versus these other sites (247) I can’t click into with updates on football redshirts, transfer targets, etc. Trust me, I could care less about the $10/mo but can’t justify paying 3 sites for the latest in ISU.
