Google tells me he was a 2X placer in the California state tournament. 2nd @ 126 as Soph, 6th @ 138 as JR. Finished R12 as a Senior @ 145.

Any idea what weight he projects to be in college? Hard to guess with a guy who is still growing and moved up every year.
California's the state with no classes, right? If I am right, it can be hard to gauge these guys who don't seem to have the state tournament credentials that other recruits have. Placing at all in a state that big is impressive enough for me. Welcome aboard Joseph!
Yep. Only one class for the whole state. Just getting to the tournament is tougher than making the finals in a lot of other places.

Ha, I knew it was worded strangely. I figured someone would read it and interpret it as me thinking that wrestlers in California didn't go to class.
According to this, http://www.ncaa.org/sites/default/files/Other Sports Calendar.pdf , you are correct. This coming Monday - Thursday is the Spring signing period (wrestling considered one of "all other sports" at the end)
Working on getting an IA Wrestle interview. Any questions I get in the next hour I will try and make sure they get asked. Not sure when the interview will happen yet.
