I just wanted to remind everybody that Jon's show today from 2-4 on KXNO is going to be completely ISU Football. I encourage everyone to listen and to call in. We shouldnt let the talk stray in case some Iowa fan were to call in with jealousy and take the show off track. We all need to call in with our opinions and make sure that we get the respect we deserve. But I will also advise, please be respectful and use facts and dont just stray off like some mindless hawk fan. I trust that you all won't. Also, thank Jon after you call in, its great that we get this kind of respect from a hawk fan.

Now go have fun but dont get dirty, if your father gets home and you are messy he'll...

I like Jon's show, but i hope they dont take any calls today. Cause there are gonna be at the minimum 5 jerkoff Hawgeye fans that call up and say... Duhhhh...Hawkz Rool!! And then hang up.

That just shows what sort of mental midgets they are. I have heard 5 Pukeye callers and doing that when Pollard or some other ISU guest is on but haven't heard Cyclones do it once(not that it won't happen). I just think that speaks volumes of the maturity of each teams fan base.

I am listening to the audio stream right now and Miller says he is a lot more optimistic about our season after attending media day. He has us going 8-4 and going 5-3 in conference play. He still has us losing to Iowa but also admits that he is more leary of that game than he was before attending media day. He even stated that the defense isn't near as depleted as some sports writers would have you believe.

I am going to listen and be prepared to call if the lines are opened up to make sure WE CYCLONES are represented well and there is no slow time. Hopefully, a lot of you are doing the same thing that aren't restricted by work or schedule.

This is the first time I have listened to Millers show on KXnO.

What a breathe of fresh air on the air waves in the state of Iowa.

Thanks Jon! You have earned a listener, part-time as it may be... i will try to tune in, plus i have it on a programed station on my cars radio.

- keep.

I'm mad I had to miss Miller's show today... Was it good? What was discussed/said?

He should record his shows into a podcast. That would be awesome, and it would probably let more people listen than currently can.

It was good and he was talking up Iowa State that is for sure. Said he had to go back to his car and recalculate W/L. Said he sees us going 8-4 and going 5-3 in the conference. A couple of times I almost forgot he was a EIU fan. He of course still picks EIU to win the game but says he's more nervous now after hearing about our defense not being so depleted as some would lead you to believe.

Of course then he would try to keep the EIU crybaby squad happy by telling them that he would be spending 2 1/2 hours talking about the Pukeye media day cohosting M & M's show since Marty was going to be absent. I really don't mind listening to Jon Miller when he's neutral, which he has been for the most part.

I listened to John for a bit on Deace this afternoon. The more I listen to this guy the more I like him. He was objective and gave rational thoughts on his points. Although I think he is nuts for thinking Iowa could go 11-1
