Johnny in the AAF would be pretty fun.

Sounds like he has already been in touch with the aaf. His rights would default to San Antonio having played college at Texas A&M. If they pass on him he could become a free agent.

The league needs all it can to get viewership up, and this could certainly help that.

Ryan Leaf's journey comes to mind - it could get much worse for Johnny.
I wonder if he really likes playing football? At the very least, it seems evident he likes to use more than have a football career. Hope he figures it out.

I haven't seen references to a return to substance abuse for Johnny; there was a lot of talk of his sobriety throughout the season. But they put a lot of terms for him to meet and said he was not living up to them.

This is pure speculation but I was wondering if it was something like anger management counseling since they seemed more interested in the domestic abuse allegations.

They're not really saying how he had "convtravened" his contract. The ol' career hasn't gone how you imagined, has it, Johnny Football?

He's always just been someone who won't get out of his own way and basically asked for it. There's plenty of people out there who struggle with substance abuse for various reasons and it wasn't because they were given this kind of opportunity.

Tragedy involves causing suffering and distress and personally I wouldn't skip a beat if he were to be gone forever.

These things are sad for family and others involved but sometimes those are the big contributors.
