Yes, because I said it didn't happen by admitting that he confronted it face to face. That makes sense. Most people on here at least hate what he does now. You're trying to discredit a guy for being respectful to interviews by throwing something that's way out dated. Yes, it did happen. I actually thought it was hilarious. But then tell me why 95% of professional athletes, managers, columnists and coaches love him?
I'd love to see the data that backs up the 95%.

Good point. I'll admit that I can't back that up. But I could name you over 100 people that most fans love and respect that love him. Point being, most of the sports world likes him and thinks he's very respectful. I understand how some people just hate him. If they've given him a chance, then that's fine. It's the people that don't give him a chance or use one incident to discredit him that bugs me. As if he has to be perfect.

I have a serious question for the Rome fans: if he is so popular, then why isn't he on the air during afternoon drive time? I always thought that the most popular shows were on the air at that time to maximize the listeners. I don't really know much about radio ratings, so maybe that's not the optimum time slot.

I'll assume you're actually curious and not looking for something else to bash on.

He is out of California and is nationall syndicated. He goes 9-12 on the west coast. He has to go at that time because they have to prep and get ready for his TV show on ESPN in the atfernoon.

From a National Radio Perspective....early morning and drive time radio slots are not the most desired (for sports radio) because sports radio stations generally have local guys on during those time slots. I wish Steve Czaben was back at his night spot, because he was moved to the morning slot a year or so back and KXNO has Cotlar on instead. Czaben is one of the few good things about Fox Sports Radio.
