Jack Trice statue to return to central campus

I liked having it at the stadium, but it sounds like they got a lot of input before making a decision to move it.

Personally, I like athletics stuff to be at/around the athletics facility they were a part of.

I am fine with them moving it to central campus. I would ideally like a statue of Trice in football gear at the stadium.

A big 20 foot tall bronze statue in the new plaza would be perfect.

At least I don't feel like I was drunk every day on campus. I always thought I had seen it east of Beardshear but didn't want to sound dumb so I didn't say anything.

I like the change; it emphasized Jack's accomplishments as student-athlete. It sounds like a new, larger tribute will be added to the sports complex.

Jack Trice is featured prominently at the east side of the stadium. I do think that statue is ignored where it is now, but I do remember when they moved it with the thought being it was sort of out-of-the-way and forgotten about in central campus.

As I recall there's a big relief of Jack in his football uni and his words adjacent to him on the East concourse at the top of the steps. But a full size statue of him in the new renovation would be awesome.

He was by Carver when I was there as a student. I think it's a good thing, especially since that statue is "academic" in composition.

I DO think it's a great idea to put another one up by the stadium. They need to not lose track of it, because it's ALWAYS shown on TV during broadcasts.

Maybe they could work the "I Will" letter into it somehow, or at least a quote or two.

Yeah, this is what I had in mind. In the new concourse area would be perfect.

The Central campus funeral photo has always given me goosebumps, so I don't think Campus is a bad spot either.

Nice to have it in Central Campus. However, there needs to be something even more prominent in the new north access to "Jack Trice Stadium."
