Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Actually I am a child of the 80s and I have never seen that movie! Everyone I knew growing up had watched it but I just couldn't get myself to actually sit through it! That cheesy Peter Cetera song ruined that movie for me before I even saw it!

Actually, they were already remaking Revenge of the Nerds in New Orleans a couple of years ago. They shut down production, for who knows why. I had a friend that was acting in it and after 3 weeks there they sent everyone home.

Really? I thought "The Glory of Love" was the theme to the first Karate Kid. My bad...no matter what though...the song blows! Too bad a guy who was an integral part to a GREAT band (Chicago) let himself sing that song!

Choreography has come a long way in movies as well. So fights will look more real. not saying this movie will be good, but it will look better.

They can change the plot, characters, setting, whatever... but they can't change the soundtrack.
