I think our non-conference schedule is set up nicely. Plenty of decent opponents -- 5 guaranteed games vs top 100 (last season) teams, with a very good chance of that number being 7. There might be some complaints about the boring home slate (no "name" team other than Iowa, who we see all the time) but SDSU is a very good team we don't see often. Add UNI and that's three competitive home games.

Unluckily Caitlin Clark is looking really good for Iowa. Florida in Nov. could be a nice trip.

Really thinking about dropping the $$ for season tic.. this year. Being from western Iowa , if will be tough, but hopefully can make 1/2 games to make it worth it !!! Hopefully there are a few times, the men/woman play the same day in Hilton so I can catch both on one trip..

Looks good to me. There have been years the NC schedule deserved to get dissed, this isn't one of those years. I like that some of the potentially tougher games will not be at Hilton although it is good to have Iowa in our house this year. Maybe we can get back to the home team wins in the Iowa series. Never been a big fan of just playing only (or mostly) at home for NC. We don't electively schedule anything tough outside of the crap shoot of tournaments and this years tournament is rewarding us with some good competition if we win and advance to a game against another winner. Same for the SEC challenge game, roadie and good one.

Double header days are the best! If your driving quite a ways the Sat/Sun combo isn't too bad as long as you want to spend a night in Ames.

there are usually 3-4 of the doubles. Makes for a great day or weekend in Ames!

Even better make a weekend of it or more.

Our favorite thing (pre-Covid) was in the first month of the winter season when football, Volleyball, and both basketball programs have games. I and my wife would do at least four, and some years six events, in a matter of days.

I have also done years where I start in Council Bluffs and hit a bunch of BBQs and breweries and end in Ames. Yeah, those were good times.
