This good news from the notes:
Averaging 84.0 points per game, the Cyclones rank 14th nationally in scoring offense. ISU has surpassed the 100-point mark twice this season against Arkansas State (105-53) and New Orleans (100-63). ISU also ranks 25th in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by an average of 20.1 points per contest.

But, wait:
• The NIU women's basketball team leads the nation in scoring offense, averaging 93.1 points per game. The Huskies have scored 90-or-more points four times this season, a feat last accomplished in 1994-95 (five times).

Should be a high over/under.

NIU has seven players who average 11 pts or more. Woods and Lehman average 19 ppg. They average 80 possessions per game. Their coach loves offense and has a great resume - we may see her at another level someday.

Pace of game at times has been faster than we're comfortable with. Shot selection needs work. Some shots that will score as missed layups are sloppy. Glad to have a 45-43 lead at half. Woods is 7-8 for 15 pts on the half.

Their inability to get a layup off with us blocking it on fastbreaks has helped some. Cannot remember seeing so many layups disrupted, defected, blocked on breakaways.

Durr racking up assists while running the point in the 3rd quarter here. Nice run for her and great to be able to give Buckley more then a token minute of rest.

Edit: through the 3rd she has 8 assists and six rebounds. Still cold from the field like at Iowa but playing a really nice floor game.

That was more entertaining then I thought it might be and way glad I logged in to watch.

Not sure anyone before the game started would projected Durr with 9 assists and Starks with 11 rebounds. Or that Carleton and Johns would both go for 30 or that in a relatively close game that Buckley could get by with 29 minutes and not 39. Some interesting stats from a fun game.

I think they should run Durr at point more as I think she sets up others better than Jada.. Let both em and jada play at the same with em at the point.
