This article and video were pretty interesting. Glad to see they came up with a way to keep playing, no matter the circumstance. They will be in the east stands this Saturday to play. Go band & go Cyclones!

It sucks in so many ways that there can't be fans there tomorrow and even if we get fans the rest of the way, there won't be many of us. But I hope the players and coaches and band are able to kind of appreciate what they do have. It'll be a memory.

They will perform from the stands at halftime.
"Unlike years past, the band will not take the field at Jack Trice on Saturday, Instead, the band will take over the stands on the east side of the stadium to allow for 7.5 feet – or 4 steps in marching band terms – between each band member. Pregame and halftime performances will be from the bleachers. "
So I wasn't crazy when I wondered if the tubas were filtering devices or covid mega blasters. We have tuba covid catchers.
Idk why not. Break these bad boys out again and let it fly!!
