It certainly helps playing them early in the year as they seem to start off slow. As close as most of the games have been over the last few years, I would say ISU is due. Then again, how often does an ISU team beat a Snyder team? Not very often. This one would surprise the hell out of me.

Bruce Weber is a terrible basketball coach and there is a 0% chance this year's team beats ISU. We're going to be unbelievably bad.

In 2008, ISU scored as time expired. That game wasn't as close as the final score indicated. You're right though, other than 2008 and 2013, every game has gone down to the wire.

I'm not sure what to expect this year. Our QB situation is an absolute mess.

Has anyone in this thread already mentioned how that recent close series has a 4 year gap where it was never played in Ames?

That's why those close games were so frustrating to me, there's no way if a few of those were in Ames we have a long losing streak to them. I get the KC deal...but it was just a bad break we got them @KSU two straight on the ends of that deal.

I absolutely love Bruce Weber - he is an absolute perfect fit for you guys. Wish like crazy your AD would offer him a lifetime contract. Now, the Old Wizard, that's a different story. Respect that guy immensely, but hate him at the same time.
