College basketball season is here! Anyone who has a game-by-game prediction for Iowa State, have at it.

I’ll start. Nothing radical about my guesses, so I included scores for each game, just for fun. (The “fun†will come when I’m completely wrong in every case)

I like how you extended it to conference placement and postseason. I wasn't motivated enough to complete the scenario :spinny:

I admire your trap-game angle on FGC — I felt "chalky" about the non-conference.

I also anticipate at least one clunker, either an unexpected loss or a close-call against a seemingly "inferior" opponent. Just wasn't sure where to put it.

Three things:

3. In your scenario for the conference tourney we would play WVU, 1 and 2 seed play bye, 3v10, 4v9, 5v8.

i agree, opening up at KU sucks BUT it'll be nice to get a marquee home game late in the year, just in case we're a bubble team. Last years schedule getting Baylor late helped out big time.

Your scenario is closer to my Positive Outlook (what I think the team could accomplish, for lack of better explanation).

Notable difference with mine, regarding Global Sports — you have ISU beating Cincy then losing to UNLV; I have it as lose in semi, win consolation. I think a lot of us anticipate being able to gauge expectations based on that 2-game series. Could go 2-0, could go 0-2.

As far as postseason, if ISU did reach 4 or 5 seed level, I could totally see it playing out as you envisioned.

A lot of CF fans would be nerve-wracking about the 4-13 upset potential of ISU-SDSU. (I'd probably be among them )

We won't lose to Iowa, our big men will eat Woodbery alive and our guards will run them off the floor. Just cant have an off night and we should win by 10-15 easily.
