I mean, the games have to happen somewhere and TV basically gets the final decison.Big12 ALWAYS protects Kansas, this is getting disgusting.
They need to go back to the old school schedule pre covidStudents still not back in session for the KU game at home on Jan. 15.
Why in the hell are the students still on break on January 15th?
Baylor
Utah
Kansas
3 games while break is going on
That’s the way it’s been since 2021. They start school a week later in August now and that screwed it all up.Classes not starting until 1/21 seems late as sh!t.
Yeah I would have figured ISU would have got at least one but that's the breaks I suppose. Hopefully means maybe we get 1 or 2 next year.Anyone else a little disappointed ISU doesn't get a home Big Monday game? I know there are marquee matchups all the time for the Big 12, but I would had thought a team that will likely be ranked in the top 10 preseason poll with one of the best home court environments in the nation would had led to one Big Monday home game.
Don't know if it will be added but in the past hasn't the Athletic Dept. allowed students to buy break tickets maybe at a reduced cost? I could be wrong on that though.Probably so they can camp out for a week and not miss class, they should add that game to there student ticket.
There are also two less Mondays because of the CFP expansion. National title game would have been Jan 6th under the old format, now it's not until the 20th.Yeah I would have figured ISU would have got at least one but that's the breaks I suppose. Hopefully means maybe we get 1 or 2 next year.
And with non-conference games vs Marquette and Auburn (and possibly North Carolina and UConn/Michigan State, depending on how the Maui Invitational plays out)Man that is a crazy schedule. Just crazy.
That's the worst. I posted about this last year. The AD at least had a few student tickets reserved, but they should do more. Tell the students they get vouchers for these games for at least a side, but have to show-up for them. Not sure how to enforce that, but we need more students in the building. It's just going to make it so much less intimidating for BU, Utah and KU. Stinks. That's happened in past years as well.KU comes to Ames while students are gone so thats cool
It must be a Hok thing. The B1G does it too.Big12 ALWAYS protects Kansas, this is getting disgusting.

When I was in school 16-20 they were still doing that. I believe students could buy up to 4 tickets for $15 each and they would be in the student section. It was a pretty good deal.Don't know if it will be added but in the past hasn't the Athletic Dept. allowed students to buy break tickets maybe at a reduced cost? I could be wrong on that though.
