First off I am a Bills fan, mad they couldn't do anything to stop the Pats, but I don't have a problem with what the Pats were doing. Heath Evans and Kyle Eckel combined for over 100 yards rushing, who the **** are these guys. It is pro football, if you want to risk your best players when they don't need to be in that is fine, but like people said if Brady goes down when your up 30 they will have to deal with choices.

Ok, to put it in perspective, I don't want to hear another person on this site complain about how Hayden Fry and the Sqwaks basically went out to humiliate us from 1983-1997, leaving their first string in to run scores up to 63-20, and the kind of jerk that Fry and Iowa fans are for reveling in doing so. I mean, after all, it was the Cyclone's job to go out and stop them, and it wasn't Fry's job to let up.

As I explained earlier, I think there's a big difference between what's kosher in pro sports and what's considered ok in college. I'll let the others who said it's the other team's responsibility to stop the better team defend their position themselves.

There's a thing called CLASS and RESPECT for your fellow competitor, that the Pats and apparently some of their fans on here-though a small % -don't have.

There is no such thing as class and respect in the NFL. Is it classy for owners to cut players because they aren't performing even though they have a signed contract? Is it respectful to gouge people's eyes and balls when you are on the bottom of a pile to try and get a fumble? Is it classy to stand over a guy that just received a career ending industry and taunt him?

Give me a break. These guys have a job to do and they are doing it well. It is not their job to let up. jtdoyle is exactly right....if you are outperforming someone at your job do you stop trying to be show class and respect to that under-performer?

Last night wasn't bad at all, really. If the Bills can't stop their crappy 2nd ans 3rd string backs in the 4th quarter, more power to the Pats. It's the other games when the 1st string Pats are trying to score through the air with 2 minutes left to cover a spread (assuming) or just to say F you -against a 2nd string D line.

That has no place in sports at any level. For years Bill Cowher has gained respect by pulling the plug on the offense in the 2nd half of blowouts. What are you proving scoring TD's in blowouts?

Last night I just enjoyed it actually. Randy Moss single-handedly gave me my division lead in FF. I'm going to try to enjoy it and laugh about because the Pat's obviously don't give a rat's *** about sportsmanship. The funnier thing is watching boobs try to justify this in some way.

You see it all the time in all other Professional sports right -baseball/hockey/basketball (crickets chirp) -you're always seeing Professional fighters punching or kicking a KO'ed fighter right? :)

It has everything to do with being professional, but it takes two to play nice.

It's good to have a villian in the NFL again, really. The Pats fans can revel in the "us against the world" and we can enjoy watching someone kick the tar out of the rest of the NFL. I love watching their offense right now, it's unreal. I'm just not going to be crying when it's shattered (literally) by a late hit at some point.

I guess I must have missed those games in baseball where the team up by 10 runs starts striking out on purpose.

No, but I've seen plenty of games where teams are up by 3-4 runs, and in the 8th or 9th inning a manager will pull the stars to put benchwarmers in.

That rarely ever happens in baseball...especially with only a 3-4 run lead. 99% of the time, the stars play the entire game.

Ellis Hobbs just returned an INT for a TD to make it 56-7

Hobbs is running up the score. He just scored six.:twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy::twitcy:

It is the defense's call to life to stop the Patriots. So much for their call to life seven straight times.

Okay, not a Patriots fan here but what evidence could you possibly have to think that the Colts are going to win in January?? Just a hunch?

Colts should be healthy by then. The biggest problem they have right now is Tony Ugoh being injured. The Cheifs were all over Manning. It is killing them not having them not having Ugoh playing. The Colts dominated their first meeting up until the last quarter. Manning will not let them lose focus again.

Manning can start by not losing focus himself.

If I was out there playing on defense I would take more offense seeing the other team take a knee or let up. It would be like saying look at that poor pathetic team. They can't stop us so we better take it easy on them.

I can see doing this in sports with young kids but these are professional athletes.

HUH??? Name one Major League Baseball game where the manager pulled his star players with a 3 or 4 run lead in the 8th or 9th innings.

I think the minimum score needed to pull your stars out of a baseball game is around 8-10 runs. MAYBE you pull a star with a nagging injury a little bit earlier.

+1 Rep.

In high school football, it upset our team more when the other team started taking knees and showing us mercy.

Losers complain when the other team runs up the score.

to kind of hope Brady or Moss gets popped a good one when they are still in the game up 42-10 against Buffalo? And Bele-runemup-check is still going on 4th down? If Buffalo doesn't start tee-ing off on some guys, I'd be real suprised.

Not that I condone this sort of thing. Just saying that if a situation warrented this, this could be the time.

Hey, a lot of our fantasy championships depend on Moss and Brady playing as much as possible, including mine. This is pro sports and they are paid to play not paid to sit the bench. Are you guys still worried about the other teams feelings...sniff, sniff.

no ****, one dinger with loaded bases and that lead is toast. Rogue52, who are these teams pulling stars with 3-4 run leads??? That is CRAZY. And if I am a fan that pays to go to the game and they pull brady and moss in the second quarter when this thing was already over I AM PISSED because even if my team sucks at least I get to watch on of the greatest QB WR tandems in the last 30 years.
