For those of you who are planning on making the trip or thinking of going, what package are you looking at? Cost of course is a factor but if I make the trip what are the must see attractions? Myself, I would like to play at least one round of golf.

I know many of you will have thoughts and ideas that I haven't considered so thanks for any input and thoughts.

Omaha
The Cliffs of Moher on the western coast. The whole western side along the coast is gorgeous

Ring of Kerry (which includes the Cliffs of Mohr) Dingle Peninsula, Killarney, Aran Islands etc

Would also recommend that you check out the Waterville Golf Links/Kerry, even if you don't golf there as it is quite expensive.... There is a statue of Payne Stewart that is open to the public & a nice restaurant across the road with beautiful views! I think there is also a public restaurant/bar in the clubhouse.

There are many golf courses to choose from, depending on your budget. I found some par 3 courses in back of their pubs..lol

We fly there tomorrow. We plan to take in Blarney castle & stone, Dingle peninsula, cliffs of Mohr, Guinness Storehourse, Giant's Causeway, small village where my great great great great grandma was from. Overnights in Cork 2, Killarney 1, Galway 2 and Dublin 4

That seems like a bit early for the game. You should have plenty of time to see the sights before the game next year.

Just booked my flights to Dublin. 32k in cc points per person from Omaha to Dublin. We are planning to go to Scotland after the game for a few days. 25k in in points from Edinburgh to Omaha for the return trip.

Minor correction here, but the Kerry Ring includes the Kerry Cliffs, not the Cliffs of Mohr. Arguably just as striking and certainly a more hidden gem, but not the same cliffs.

I’ve attempted to plan out a trip with a stop in GB and a ferry ride over to Ireland because I thought that would be a memorable experience. I discovered that I would be attempting to pack a lot in a 10 day trip, esp if I want to visit Belfast.

For those wondering what I am talking about, there is a ferry to Dublin from a coastal town near Liverpool and a ferry from Scotland to Belfast.

not sure who the target audience is

"Prices from $8,299 per guest"

Includes 10 days (presumably 9 nights), 14 meals, and airfare.

The target demo is: old people who don't know how podcasts work and are willing to pay an insane amount for the convenience of having no control over your vaction while spending it with local celebrities that only matter to people who have never lived outside of central Iowa.

my joke was more towards spending a week with heather and sean

cant imagine many ppl are on fence about spending $10k/person on a trip to Ireland that will now be swayed with those 2 "vips" hosting

It's insane that there aren't packages or options that aren't $4k+/person.

More than likely not going as we are going on a cruise in December for 10 days around $5,000 for two. Including drink package. I'm OK with that.
