The Ring of Kerry is a 179-km-long circular tourist route in County Kerry, South Western Ireland. On this tour there are views of the Skellig Rocks (islands), where Star Wars 'The Force Awakens' was recently filmed. The tour also takes in the Cliffs of Moher and Galway Bay.Minor correction here, but the Kerry Ring includes the Kerry Cliffs, not the Cliffs of Mohr. Arguably just as striking and certainly a more hidden gem, but not the same cliffs.
That sounds like the Irish portion of the Scotland/Ireland land tour we booked in the 2 weeks leading up to the game. Booked through a local Irish company called "My Ireland". They had several good iteneraries; we were in Scotland 25 years ago and have always wanted to go back, so we opted for the two country tour.We fly there tomorrow. We plan to take in Blarney castle & stone, Dingle peninsula, cliffs of Mohr, Guinness Storehourse, Giant's Causeway, small village where my great great great great grandma was from. Overnights in Cork 2, Killarney 1, Galway 2 and Dublin 4
Ah, my bad, I didn't catch that was a package option. The Aran Islands being included should have been a dead giveaway to me. If it's an Irish company doing the promotions, they probably don't know any better. They have the right states, and may not realize that there are different "abbreviations" for the respective schools. That said, JP and the KU AD should get on top of this and get the promotions corrected.Maybe it's a doubleheader we haven't yet learned about yet. /sarcasm
Seriously ... how do you get it THAT WRONG?

No problem. It's kind of confusing. Definitely a scenic part of Ireland & I would highly recommend the drive.Ah, my bad, I didn't catch that was a package option. The Aran Islands being included should have been a dead giveaway to me. My bad.
We had a rental and did self tours. We're on the older side; we prefer to be chauffeured. We had a rental and did self tours. I would shift 1-2 more days to western Killarney & Galway if we go back
How many days is this(trip on map)? Looks similar to what I was researching but as previously mentioned would have been difficult in the time I was allotting. We're on the older side; we prefer to be chauffeured.![]()
This is our itinerary, then we will have a couple of days in Dublin before doing the 7-day package with ISU.

For the record, we started with the ISU game package, but then found out Ireland was where our grandson wanted to go for his trip with us. He hates football, so we are traveling with him first, then putting him on the plane home from Dublin and spending the rest of the time with just us and a bunch of Cyclones and purple kitties.![]()
14 days. They have about a dozen different tours that are 9 to 20 days long: Ireland & Scotland, Ireland only, one that includes parts of England & Wales, and at least one that is "adults only" - over 18...no rug rats. How many days is this(trip on map)? Okay that makes sense. I like the process of being an amateur travel agent and when factoring in flights, ferry and some multi-day cities there was no way to do the two countries “right” in 10 days. That trip looks incredible though.14 days. Longer stays are a lot easier now that we're retired and don't have to budget vacation days.![]()
I haven't booked anything yet but this is about the same plan I have in my head minus the ISU package. Start in Edinburgh then loop around and fly out of Dublin. I'll be solo traveling most of it then meeting up with family for a few days in Dublin at the end. We're on the older side; we prefer to be chauffeured.![]()
