You should just be able to drag and drop the songs into iTunes, and the rest is pretty straight forward.

Like brianhos, just go to File > Import and browse to your directory. Once the songs are in iTunes, you can right-click on each and do "Properties" to add images, edit the name, etc., and so on.

This link is pretty cool:

Here is a question that I've had for a while. If I buy a movie from iTunes, can I burn it to DVD?

If you put the movie in a playlist, you should be able to burn that playlist to DVD (there is a little circle icon in the upper right of iTunes). I've done that with episodse of "The Office", etc. I'm not sure how compatible it is with DVD players, though. I actually back up my music to DVD because it's the only way to get it all fitting in one place.

I have not yet used it myself, but have heard this is quite helpful in managing MP3 files, playlists, syncing, etc....

MediaMonkey Free MP3 Jukebox Player, Music Library Organizer

I TOTALLY vote for this. I paid for it a while back, and it's completely worth it. It blows the doors off of iTunes, IMO. Works seamlessly with ipods, my Treo 755p with ptunes, and flash-based music players. Scales very well with huge libraries, and doesn't force you into the iTunes empire.

I really, really, REALLY hate iTunes.
