iPad 2- things I don't know

Recently purchased the iPad. Never had any apple products so I'm kinda a noob. What are some functions of the iPad is there that I don't know about? Any secret stuff? I mostly just use it to browse Internet. Nothing else.

Also I'm bored today- what are some fun apps/games?

I don't know much of anything. just learned how to use the chat option for Facebook haha.

- double press the the button (the only one on your ipad) when you're finished using apps
- then, long press on the app - they will begin to shake and a red (-) will show up
- press that to fully close out of the app

will save mucho battery this way

You can use a 4 fingered swipe to quickly switch between any running apps.

there is an app called appstart. download that and it will tell you everything you need to know.

I didn't learn this about my iphone for about 2 months. When I finally did it there was about 30 apps open.

That was my first thought as well. I had no idea that you could follow those steps and shut down apps that were running in the background.

If you press the power button and the face button at the same time quickly, it will take a snapshot of your screen. Comes in handy if you want to show someone something on your ipad through email.
