I wish Steph could've gone in the last 10 seconds, even with a crutch. This is what I hoped would happen the first time I saw her play this season but really doubted it when she was injured. She'll get a ring too won't she?

I sure hope so, her and Bea are both on the bench every home game supporting and helping the posts. It was almost like having extra coaches. Bea is the fun one to watch.
Mrs. Best and I were talking about this this morning. Will definitely not be as great as using both venues. Having said that I think we are going to try attending both weeks. Hope some of you will consider coming down for the semis and finals if the women make it next year. Need to see a schedule put out by the conference as we will be 14 teams next year. May not be so bad if the championship is on Saturday or Sunday for the women.
It really doesn’t get any better than this - Ashley owns the tournament and leads ISU to victory. Unselfish play and everybody stepping up, absolutely everybody! Emily held her own vs Rori Harmon and Lexi made some plays. Fritz is tough as nails! Morgan was a warrior! Diew with a demoralizing dagger to end the third. Izzy trading haymakers with their bully - there’s no crying in basketball! MEM doesn’t play but leads the cheers with Maggie Vick. Our walking wounded, Bea and Steph keeping everybody loose. The hugs at the end - brought tears to my weary cynical old eyes!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed the selection committee recognizes it took some time to adjust to the Soares injury, gives credit for how we’re playing now and gives us a four seed! Let’s go State!!!
