You need to be in the top 16 so probably not. I'm happy to have them playing well going into the tourney.
Based on that list, she needs 31 points to pass Miller, Holdsclaw, Moore, and Delle Donne. That would get her to #9. Banham is an additional 51 points at #8, so #9 is a very likely place for her to end up.

ISU is 14th in NET. Win Sunday they have a shot. attendance also can impact those final decisions. Optics plays a role in this if it can be justified
I don't know if it was last night or this afternoon, but the announcers said they'd heard from Charlie Creme, ESPN Bracketologist, who indicated ISU couldn't get any better than a 5 seed, even if we won the Big XII Tournament. Sucks, but we've got a couple of bad losses on our record - Kansas State foremost among them. The young women will need to be road warriors.
Honestly with our NET ranking in the low teens (14 before Baylor win) its kind of nuts to not be in consideration for a host site. We also sell tickets, so with that and our NET being good we may surprise with our seed. Who knows, I'm just being hopeful.
I thought the announcers might start crying at the end and maybe they did off air. If we thought they were bad today, wait until tomorrow if they are doing the game.

Most predictions are predicting Texas as a four seed. I feel like if we beat Texas in the final and they know we will have a huge crowd we have a chance at that four, but not sure how much they care about a game so close to announcement time.ISU is 14th in NET. I see 8th place is 3,093, 9th is 3,039. With minimum of two more games, Ashley should get to 9th place. If she goes beast or gets 3, 4 or more games, she could move to 8th and maybe 7th (3,107).
In the mens tourney it’d be hard to imagine not getting a 4seed with 12-14 net ranking out of major conf. Maybe womens committee is different.
