Nah. We don't need a "revenge" game. We beat them in the Insight Bowl. Good enough for me. Save the throwbacks for an important prime time game next fall. Great advertising for our school and Jack Trice's legacy.

Iowa State and Minnesota used to play often over a century ago.

Glad to have had some payback for all that torture in 2009 --

We should be playing all of our neighbors waay more often. If this is all about money then what would bring in more money than two P5 teams playing a border rivalry.
Of course this hurts our record at the end of the year..

The Athletic Dept is asking fans what their favorite logo is on Facebook. They could edit the post and just ask everybody what years they went to school and the responses wouldn't change much.
Nah mine isnt the same as when I went.

The Ames logo isn’t my favorite, but I’d definitely buy some merch if they threw it on it. Or any of those retro logos that we don’t push, for that matter.

I really don't understand the fascination by some of the more prominent ISU Twitter folks with the blue logo from 95-06.

Walking cys are the best, most traditional logo even if people are confused why we're the Cyclones.

Now see, I go back and forth on this one. I mainly don’t like it a ton because of the blue in it. Other than that it actually is a pretty cool logo. Tons better than the boring as block I with the state in it. I can’t find the picture but I know I saw Breece wearing a black hoodie with this outline a few years ago and thought holy hell that would be badass to wear!

A lot of the love I see for it too is coming from younger generation, Gen Z, current student types. That generation is obsessed with 90's fashion and designs. That logo is just back in vouge. It is funny as well as painful to me that ISU always seems so slow to change and to react to trends that by the time they implement something it is 2-3 years to late.

Combination of:
(1) Logo when they were in school
(2) Logo associated with winning (00-05, anyway)

On the flip side, there are people who LOATHE the tornado just because it was used when Criner was coach. That's it. Not for the design, not for the look -- just because they associate it with Criner/losing.
