I'm going to counter that a little bit. How can a recruit watch our offense and think that's a team they want to play for? My God, we are tragically bad offensively.
What’s impressive is we were in on guys who objectively would’ve helped our offense - AJ Green and Grant Basile - and weren’t able to land them.

The pitch for transfers is easy - show how open we were for every three we missed against Pitt and say “if you can make those, you’re starting for one of the best teams in the best conference in the NCAA”

Not quite following the first few posts regarding scholarships. Based on CFs scholarship chart, I think we have 5 open schollies. They have 4 openings but Tamin is listed twice. Those 5 scholarships do not include the potential for Jones and/or Ward to come back

My only concern is him being dismissed from team and what Temples reasons for doing so were
He’d bring some baggage and a little bit of an inflated ego with him. The chances of us landing him is thin, as he is most likely headed to Kentucky or going to a blue blood, but TJ and co. will lean into Williams heavily with this one.

With Battle being a high volume scorer, we’ve got a lot to offer him with where our rosters at and what we need

the baggage vs production balance is something TJ played a role in during the Hoiball years and he'll have to do more of going forward. You want good kids like Robert Jones or Aljaz Kunc but sometimes you need to take shots on kids with baggage like Korie Lucious and Chris Allen

How can a recruit that shoots 40% or better no look at our team and think 'boy i will get a lot of minutes if I go there ..'

Were we in on Johnni Broome or w/e too? Or was that a pipe dream.

We recruited him. Not sure how close we were to getting him. We went after him though. He would have made our team 100 percent more effective having a post that could bring what he brings to the table

The D is going to evolve. Need to remain aggressive with less contact. As the talent increases the need to stay on the floor increases.
Yep. TJ isn't dumb, he knew the team lacked elite talent, and was going to struggle scoring consistently, so the best way equalize that is with a tough, in your face defense, that creates turnovers.
