I live in Eastern Iowa and I have always been able to pick it up on Mediacom 44, comcast chicago, when it is on FSN. Not sure how that affiliation all works out.

I thought this year that Comcast was no longer going to air FSN broadcasts? Was there some sort of agreement between them?

Comcast used to show some of the FSN games. No more. Comcast is owned/affiliated with NBC now, and they're trying to get their own NBC Sports cable channel off the ground (apparently by airing Ivy League games, but whatever). As an NBC-owned channel, Comcast isn't showing anything from Fox Sports. Not any more.

Really does suck for us in eastern Iowa. Both of our cable systems ditched Fox Sports Chicago (McLeod also had Fox Sports Midwest, which was cool to watch the Cardinals on). Why? Because Comcast showed Cubs games. That's the reason we are now shut out of Big 12 football on FSN. Thanks, Cubs fans. Thanks for nothing.

For Mediacom in NE Iowa this game will be on the standard FSN which is out of St. Louis. In Waterloo it is channel 42. The downside is since the Comcast channel doesn't pick this up it won't be in HD.

I don't have the sports pack on Directv, but I do get Fox Sports Midwest, which the game will be on. Pretty sure it's channel 671.

Anyone know if you need the sports pack to watch this on Direct TV?

You typically need the Sports Pack to get the FSN stations that are not in your area. For Des Moines, FSN Midwest was recently made a part of the basic package and you don't need the sports pack for FSN Midwest. Not sure what it is in Omaha, but I would assume its similar, or that you at least get Fox Sports KC.

I did discover that Fox College Sports mirrors the FSN games when they don't have their own game on. So, you will be able to get the game in SD if you buy the sports pack I think. I'm going to check the guide tonight to see before paying for the sports pack.

Great. It wasn't on 671 in my channel guide a couple days ago and it freaked me out. All good now.

Anyone know for cedar rapids? For standard media com? Pretty sure I'm out of luck.

If you have the Mediacom sports and information pack (I believe that's what it's called), they will probably pick up FSN for this game. At least they did a month ago for the Tulsa game. Apparently they showed it on the channel that has FCS Midwest.

If you don't have the sports pack ... or if you're like me, and ditched Mediacom for ImOn several years ago ... it doesn't look like it's going to be on cable. As mentioned earlier, Comcast doesn't pick up FSN games anymore, like they did last year.
