This team clearly does not like to be the favorite. So this is a good thing, in a weird sort of way.

Sometimes they fear success. Like when they get a lead in these recent games, they seem to hate it and give up a 7-0 run.

Change your mindset guys.

Please?

Yep. The key is righting the ship. Michigan State lost three straight, including one to Indiana at home and another at Illinois. They've lost two starters. But they've managed to win five in a row, including one at Michigan. There's still plenty of time to get hot, but late February isn't generally when you want to run into adversity. The next two weeks are huge.
Maybe to get a higher seed; however I'd bet there's no correlation between how a team ends the regular season and how they then perform in the NCAA tourney.
Texas Tech, for example, lost 5 of their last 7 reg season games last year. But they played brilliantly in the tourney, losing only when they had to play Nova in the Elite Eight.

Matchups certainly play a big role in tourney performance, but generally, teams that win more games in the regular season win more games in the tournament. And teams that win more games at the end of the regular season probably win more games in the tournament. I don't know, seems kinda obvious.

For every 2018 Texas Tech, there's a 2018 Oklahoma and probably more of them.

Just keep winning and it will take care of itself. Besides, the only thing that really matters is where the committee ranks them.
