Thank you to everyone who left the umbrellas alone that we could not take into the stadium. I came back to the entrance and my umbrella was still sitting by the entrance to the stadium along with a ton of others.

Well, there is an easy way to get free umbrellas in Ames. Just go to the ISU library 2 -3 days after a rain and tell them you left an umbrella last time it rained. They will take you to lost and found where you can usually pick from dozens. If they ask you what color it is before showing you inventory just answer with either Black or Navy.

At least that always worked in early 80s when I was in school.

I was talking to someone on Sunday night who said her umbrella was taken. But, of course, with Iowa Nice, I assumed that someone just took it by mistake. It will probably be put back for the next game.
