It was an option as far as a possible opponent but for Iowa State the October date was not an option. JP and CMC were not going to give up the bye week and if they did as I fan I would have been furious.

Should be a good opportunity to play as many freshmen as possible. I'll be there, shouldn't be much chance for lightning. Will be mixing the ethanol with the hot chocolate that day.
Given all the games that got cancelled due to Hurricane Florence I'm very glad we have this taken care of. There were 4 FBS and 4 FCS games postponed. There will be a lot of schools scrambling for teams like this that are willing to reschedule mid season.
