Its not sounding too good from those who know other fball players and are on campus...he's been MIA for the past couple of weeks.

Geeebuz, how can a kid give up the oppty to be THE MAN at RB next year...unless the rumors about his involvement in the "you know what" incident are worse than being reported.

FYI...I have not seen anything else about the rumor that Jake is/isn't gone...so it's quite likely that - just a rumor.

Maybe he's just taking some advice from people who always say "be careful who you associate with". If you were hanging out with a group of people who had 10% being arrested, some with serious charges, might you not reconsider your friends and associates?

Just read the thread on HN.com...some rather amusing stuff...regarding their seemingly bleak running back situation for '08...

The athletic department is setting up a "contest" for next season. Before every home game they will select a seat number and the person holding that ticket will be inserted into the lineup at RB.

I hear Smash Williams is still available.
